I have been a referee since 2007. I spent one year as a level 7 then went to level 6. I was then selected to be given an accelerated promotion straight to Level 4, at this time I was also selected to be in the Young Referee Select group which was lead by Phil Dowd (FA EPL Referee) in my first year and then Kevin Friend (FA EPL Referee) in years 2 & 3.
